Job summary

Paradigm at First Colony in Missouri City, TX is seeking a dedicated RN for a full-time role to oversee resident care, plan and coordinate nursing services, and mentor staff within a compliant, patient-centered environment.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, educate residents and families, and respond to emergencies while upholding dignity and rights. An ADN and TX RN license are required, with preferred LTC experience and POC familiarity.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license in the state.
• An Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• Two years’ Long-Term Care experience preferred.
• Six (6) months experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices preferred.
• Strong utilization knowledge of Point Click Care preferred.
• Computer literacy skills (Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, Internet).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrate leadership, organizational skills, and ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude.
• Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Display attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Report incidents, grievances, exposures, and suspected abuse, neglect, fraud, or system security breaches.
• Safeguard confidential information, including protected health information and system access credentials, and follow all facility policies related to safety, documentation, and information security.
