Skyview Springs Rehab. & Nursing in Luray, VA is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide compassionate care on Day, Evening, and Night shifts. Enjoy full-time, part-time, or PRN schedules with market-rate pay and a $5,000 sign-on bonus (limited time).

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Experience in Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing preferred.
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds and stand/bend/walk for extended periods.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per standards of practice and physician orders.
• Plan and monitor nursing interventions for each resident.
• Administer medications and document progress accurately.
• Coordinate with therapists to support rehabilitation needs.
• Ensure CNA documentation and assignments are completed on time.
• Communicate changes in conditions to supervisor, physician and family.

We offer full time and part-time Day (7a–3p), Evening (3p–11p), and Night (11p–7a) shifts. Available schedules may vary based on current facility needs.

Rate of pay: $38.00 to $43.45 (plus Shift Diffs as applicable)

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide nursing care to ensure resident needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and procedures, and state, federal and local guidelines
• Plan nursing interventions for each resident based on individual needs and monitor the implementation
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care interventions, identify problems and trends and develop alternative interventions.
• Conduct family and resident education
• Administer medications and treatments timely and according to center policy
• Transcribe physician’s orders and chart progress notes in an informative, factual manner that reflects the care administered as well as the resident’s response
• Identify and report changes in conditions to supervisor, physician and family
• Accurately identify skin changes and follow skin management protocols
• Order and report diagnostic tests timely
• Follow Pharmacy policy and procedures for ordering and delivering medications.
• Coordinate resident’s rehabilitation program with therapists to ensure rehabilitation needs are met
• Monitors that CNA documentation is completed daily
• Ensures CNA assignments are completed on time
• Perform additional nursing care responsibilities as required and based on State Nurse Practice Act.

Requirements:

• Active state RN license
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Experience in Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing preferred
• Excellent technical, assessment and documentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift 25 or more pounds
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended time periods
• Team player, strong communicator, passionate about senior care
