Job summary

Willis Knighton Health's WK Bossier cardiology team in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Registered Nurse to support physicians in patient care for cardiology patients.

The RN will perform diagnostic monitoring (EKG, Holter, pacemaker), provide patient education, coordinate referrals, and assist with medication management in a busy clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Louisiana RN license required.
• Cardiology experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a busy Cardiology group! The RN will assist the physicians with managing care for cardiology patients. A detailed-oriented, dependable, organized nurse who can do multitask and has demonstrated a consistent work history will be the candidate chosen for the job.

Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To

• EKG's, holter monitor placement
• Assisting in pacemaker monitoring
• Assisting with stress test monitoring
• Educating patients and families
• Referrals and preauthorization
• Medication management.

Qualifications

• A current Louisiana RN license is required for this position.
• Clinical experience or Cardiology experience preferred but not required.

The office hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. A hospital-wide and a detailed departmental orientation are offered upon hire. There is also an excellent benefit package provided.
