Totally Kids Specialty Healthcare - Sun Valley is seeking a Registered Nurse to lead the clinical team and coordinate patient care in a pediatric long-term care setting in Sun Valley, CA. The RN will oversee LVN, CNA, and RT staff, perform doctor rounds, and manage admissions, discharges, and urgent needs.

The ideal candidate will hold a CA RN license, BLS, and Fire and Life Safety cards, with a commitment to comprehensive pediatric care and patient safety on a 12-hour shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have a current California Registered Nursing License.
• BLS certification is required.
• Fire and Life Safety card is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical staff: LVN, CNA, and RT.
• Conduct physician rounds.
• Transcribe orders and manage admissions and discharges.
• Respond to urgent and emergent needs.

Totally Kids Specialty Healthcare is a small pediatric sub-acute hospital with 45 patients. We are the ONLY long-term care hospital dedicated entirely to children. Our residents' ages range from newborn to 21 years of age and we are dedicated to enriching the health and quality of life for our kids. We are always striving to meet the medical, developmental, social, psychological, and spiritual needs of our kids. We are looking for a skilled RN (Registered Nurse) to become a part of our facility's compassionate caregiving team. The RN is responsible for overseeing Clinical Staff: LVN, CNA, and RT. RN. Completing Doctor rounds, transcribing orders, admission, discharge, and responding to urgent/ emergent needs. One unit with one Charge RN.

We can offer a full-time job with 12 hours shifts. Flexibility only works 3 days a week to be full-time.

Qualifications

Must have a current California Registered Nursing License, BLS certification, and Fire and Life Safety card.

Wage Range

• Starting at $47/h - $49/hr based on experience.
• Night differential: Wage + $1/h.
• Weekend differential: Wage + $1/h.
• Referral Bonus.
• Sign-on Bonus of $1,000.

Education provided

Many opportunities for In-service hours. BLS and FIRE classes are provided by the facility and you get paid for your time in those classes. We offer frequent Skills training and assessment - to stay up-to-date with changes in healthcare.
