This position will work with a diverse population including individuals who experience Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED), Severe Mental Illness (SMI), Severe and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI), intellectual and/or developmental delay (IDD), and substance use disorders (SUD). The RN will work with the medical team and the PSS to ensure collaborative, integrated, and person-centered treatment is provided for PSSs in a holistic, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented fashion.Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN)EDUCATION AND LICENSURE:Required:Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas (or appropriate Compact licensure).Current Basic Life Support (BLS) FOR Registered Nurse (RN):Required:Minimum of one year of experience in working with diverse populations in delivery of medical careDemonstrated experience actively participating in collaborative care environment.Experience in performing nursing assessments and following client care.Ability to embrace multi-disciplinary approach to care.Comfort in obtaining blood work, monitoring vitals, giving medication injections, and obtaining urine samples.Preferred:1-2 years' nursing experience, preferably in behavioral health, community health, or integrated care.We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
