Job summary

Mountains Community Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver prescribed medical care and daily living assistance to patients across units including Medical-Surgical, Emergency, Perioperative and Skilled Nursing.

The position requires an RN licensed in California, an AA or equivalent degree, and a hospital-based nursing credential. On-call responsibilities are part of the role.

Qualifications

• AA or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Preferred 1–2 years’ experience in Emergency Services, Perioperative, Medical Surgical or Skilled Nursing.
• Current California RN license.

Responsibilities

• Provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care to patients.
• Work across Medical Surgical Unit, Emergency Services, Perioperative Services and Skilled Nursing Facility.
• On call as required.

Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school.

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.

Preferred one to two years’ experience in specific nursing service i.e. Emergency Services,

Perioperative Services, Medical Surgical Services, Skilled Nursing Services.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Current State of California Nursing license.

Current BLS certificate.

For Med/Surg and House Supervisor:

ACLS upon hire

PALS within 6 months of hire

Basic arrhythmia certification required within 6 months of hire
