Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team in an on-site role. Qualifications

  • Active RN license in Ohio (or eligible).
  • BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred or obtainable.
  • PNP/CCRNs or PCCN etc. specialty certs preferred.
  • Experience with hospital and ambulatory care settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based nursing care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments following standards.
  • Monitor and document patient status and vital signs in EHR.
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharges.
  • Coordinate transitions of care, including admissions and discharges.
  • Maintain infection prevention and patient safety standards.
  • Precept and mentor peers and staff to ensure quality care.
  • Participate in quality improvement and continuing education.
