Job summary

Luxor Healthcare in Missouri is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate patient care on a 12-hour shift. New graduates welcome and a flexible schedule with competitive pay are offered.

You will administer medications, monitor vital signs, assist with procedures, and collaborate with the care team to support patient safety and recovery. Missouri RN license required and COVID vaccination or willingness to vaccinate.

Qualifications

• Current license as a Registered Nurse in Missouri.
• COVID-19 vaccination completed or willingness to vaccinate.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to patients as assigned.
• Administers and records medications and treatments as assigned.
• Assists Physicians and others with diagnostic procedures and treatments.
• Reinforces health care instructions to patients and families.
• Participates with team in planning, implementing, and evaluating care.
• Assists with admission, transfer and discharge of patients.
• Observes and reports vitals, symptoms and condition to the team.
• Maintains environment for patient comfort and safety.
• Assists with unit management and may lead the unit as assigned.

• Prepares for and assists Physicians and others with diagnostic procedures and treatments.
• Reinforce supports and provides health care instructions to patients and their families.
• Participates with other team members in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities.
• Assists in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Observes and reports patients' vital signs, symptoms, and general condition to the appropriate individuals).
• Records on patient charts observation of patient’s responses to nursing care rendered.
• Maintains environmental conditions conducive to the comfort and safety of patients.
• Assists with unit management and/or assume charge of unit as assigned.
