1002 Adventist Midwest Management Services in Hinsdale, IL is seeking a Night Shift Registered Nurse. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop personalized care plans and educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments and self-care.

The role requires extensive nursing credentials, critical care experience, and collaboration with the care team to ensure safe patient outcomes. Employment includes full benefits and a faith-based care environment.

Qualifications

• RN with required nursing licensure and listed certifications.
• Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and care planning.
• Strong knowledge of critical care and emergency nursing practices.
• Experience coordinating with medical staff and family education.

Job Description:

Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary. Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions. Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance. Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
