Wexford Health Sources, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for North Central Regional Jail in Greenwood, WV.

This role emphasizes leadership, education, and advocacy as you work with medical and correctional staff to assess health needs, administer medications, and guide treatment plans from start to finish. You will educate patients, make timely referrals, and help maintain safety and care standards across the unit.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted RN license in state of practice; correctional nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification required; strong clinical and communication skills.
• Compassionate, nonjudgmental patient care approach.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical and mental health needs; administer medications and guide treatment plans.
• Lead, teach, and advocate for patients within the facility.

You'll play a key role in supporting patient education, making timely referrals, and helping maintain safety and standards across the unit. What You'll Need

• Active unrestricted RN license in state of practice and 1-2 years of nursing experience (correctional experience preferred).
• Active CPR certification.
• Strong clinical and communication skills; adaptability in high-pressure settings.
• A compassionate, nonjudgmental approach to patient care.
