Wexford Health Sources, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for North Central Regional Jail in Greenwood, WV. The position features a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule with pay from $42/hour+.

You will lead, teach, and advocate while collaborating with healthcare and correctional staff to deliver comprehensive patient care. You will assess needs, administer medications, guide treatment plans, and promote safety and standards.

• Active unrestricted RN license in state of practice.

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

FACILITY: North Central Regional Jail

LOCATION: Greenwood, WV

PAY RATE: $42/hour+

Position Summary

As a Registered Nurse in our facility, you'll do more than care for patients-you'll lead, teach, and advocate. Working closely with healthcare and correctional staff, you'll assess physical/mental health needs, administer medications, and guide treatment plans from start to finish. You'll play a key role in supporting patient education, making timely referrals, and helping maintain safety and standards across the unit. Whether you're managing medications, mentoring staff, or responding to a crisis, your skills will make a real impact every day.

What You'll Need

• Active unrestricted RN license in state of practice and 1-2 years of nursing experience (correctional experience preferred).
• Active CPR certification.
• Strong clinical and communication skills; adaptability in high-pressure settings.
