BASIC FUNCTION: The Registered Nurse works at our main hospital campus, directly reporting to the Clinic 3 Manager. They will assist comprehensive medicine for our Clinic 3 practice, specifically for Dermatology. The RN assesses the patient needs, provides laboratory procedures as appropriate, ensures proper follow-up care, and provides medication and treatment under supervision of a physician.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Records patient histories, performs various diagnostic tests, administers medications, and develops patient care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals.
• Provides direct professional nursing and medical care to patients.
• Observes patients’ progress and records observations in patient medical records.
• Promotes patients’ independence by teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications and self-care skills.
• Is expected to work regularly scheduled hours as assigned, according to the needs of the facility.
• Assists physicians during examinations and procedures, operating and monitoring medical equipment as necessary.
• Participates in developing and maintaining department quality assurance.
• Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• RN staff must possess a currently valid State of Colorado license to practice as an RN.
• Must have current BLS card within 3 months of initial employment and maintain current status throughout GRHD employment.
• Prefer one year of professional nursing experience in a clinic type setting.
  
  

SALARY INFORMATION :

• $30.50 - $44.91 Dependent on Experience
• Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
