Job summary

Paul House & Health Care Center in Chicago, IL is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our nursing team. We offer 12-hour shifts (AM and PM), with both full-time and part-time opportunities across shifts, plus Next Day Pay and a supportive team environment.

RNs will provide resident-centered care, perform assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, physicians, and nursing leadership to maintain safety and quality of care.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Illinois RN license required.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to supervise, delegate, and provide clinical leadership.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional approach to resident care.
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Must meet applicable health and background requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe nursing care to residents.
• Perform nursing assessments and monitor resident conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
• Identify and promptly communicate significant changes in resident condition.
• Notify physicians and appropriate care team regarding resident needs and changes.
• Develop, review, and update resident care plans.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Supervise and appropriately delegate responsibilities to LPNs and CNAs.
• Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, and other nursing leadership.
• Maintain resident dignity, privacy, safety, and quality of care.
• Follow facility policies, infection-control practices, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Perform additional nursing duties as assigned.

Schedule
