Job summary

Paul House & Health Care Center in Chicago, IL is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our nursing team. We offer full-time and part-time opportunities across AM and PM shifts, with a focus on resident-centered care and clinical leadership.

Qualified candidates hold an Illinois RN license, have strong nursing judgment, and are capable of supervising LPNs and CNAs while collaborating with physicians and the care team. Weekend shifts may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and appropriate nursing care to residents.

• Administer medications and treatments per orders and policies.
• Identify and communicate changes in resident condition promptly.
• Notify physicians and care team regarding needs and changes.
• Develop, review and update resident care plans.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Supervise and delegate to LPNs and CNAs as appropriate.
• Provide clinical guidance to nursing staff.
• Communicate with residents, families and interdisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership on care delivery.
• Maintain resident dignity, privacy, safety and quality of care.

Paul House & Health Care Center – Chicago, IL

Paul House & Health Care Center is seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our nursing team. Our RNs play an essential role in providing quality, resident-centered care while providing clinical leadership and collaborating with CNAs, LPNs, physicians, nursing leadership, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.

Full-time and part-time opportunities are available across AM and PM shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and appropriate nursing care to residents

• Perform nursing assessments and monitor resident conditions

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies

• Identify and promptly communicate significant changes in resident condition

• Notify physicians and appropriate members of the care team regarding resident needs and changes

• Develop, review, and update resident care plans

• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation

• Supervise and appropriately delegate responsibilities to LPNs and CNAs

• Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and members of the interdisciplinary team

• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, and other nursing leadership

• Maintain resident dignity, privacy, safety, and quality of care

• Follow facility policies, procedures, infection-control practices, and applicable regulatory requirements

• Perform additional nursing duties as assigned

Qualifications

Schedule

Available 12-hour shifts include:

• AM: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

• PM: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• Full-time and part-time opportunities available

• Weekend availability may be required
