Job summary

Wellpath is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care in our facilities. You will work under supervision of Charge Nurses, delivering comprehensive nursing care and education to patients with compassion.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to care plans, and clear communication with medical staff. CPR and an active state RN license are required, with at least one year of clinic experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Minimum one year clinic experience.
  • Current RN license in the state of employment.
  • CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in assessing and planning treatment programs with Charge Nurse(s) and other staff.
  • Implement medical plans by administering medications and assisting with tests or minor procedures.
  • Count controlled substances and ensure care follows clinical policies.
  • Document nursing encounters using SOAP and attend mandatory meetings and training.
  • Communicate information to nursing staff, physicians and supervisory personnel as needed.

How you make a difference

As a Registered Nurse(RN), your primary responsibilityis toprovidepatient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning,implementation,and evaluation.You will work under the supervision of Charge Nurse(s) to provide patient education and activities in accordance with your competencies and education.This role requires excellent communication and critical thinking skills to ensureoptimalpatient outcomes.



Key Responsibilities


  • Assistin assessing and planning individual treatment programs, consulting with Charge Nurse(s) and otherstaffas necessary.


  • Implement medical plans by administering medications, obtaining diagnostic tests, andassistingwith medical or minor surgical procedures as needed.


  • Count controlled substances and implement clinical and technical aspects of carein accordance withestablished policies, procedures, and protocols.


  • Document nursing encounters using the SOAP form of charting as required by policy and attend mandatory staff meetings and training.


  • Communicate information to nursing staff, physician, health care unit supervisory personnel or otherstaffas necessary.




Qualifications & Requirements


Education


  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.



Experience


  • Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience



Licenses/Certifications


  • Have and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state of employment.


  • Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.
