Job summary

US Eye in Charleston, SC is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced ophthalmic ambulatory surgery center. The RN will provide perioperative patient care, collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists, and monitor patients through all phases of surgery.

The ideal candidate holds an active South Carolina RN license, demonstrates strong clinical assessment and critical thinking, and communicates effectively with patients and families in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• Active SC RN license required.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced ophthalmic surgical setting.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care during the perioperative phase.
• Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitoring patients before, during, and after surgery.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.

Job Summary:
