Job summary

HCA Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse for Cardiac Surg Assoc of Oak Hill in Florida to support patient care across the workflow from screening and exam prep to nursing care and admissions testing.

The role includes instructing patients on medications and treatment instructions, maintaining and reviewing records, and administering medications per physician orders. It also covers daily room checks, triage calls, and upholding our Code of Conduct and Mission values.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited RN program.
  • 1-3 years' experience as a registered nurse is preferred.
  • Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse per state regulations.

Responsibilities

Job Summary And Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

  • You will manage efficient flow of patients including screening, preparation for exam, providing general nursing care, and arranging or testing and admissions
  • You will instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions
  • You will maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results
  • You will administer medications in accordance with physician orders
  • You will check rooms daily for necessary supplies
  • You will respond to and refer incoming telephone calls (may include phone triage when needed)
  • Practice and adhere to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement”.

What Qualifications you will need:

Education:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of registered nursing is required

Experience:

  • 1-3 years' experience as a registered nurse is preferred

Certification/ License:

  • Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations
