Job summary

Wexford Health Sources, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for the St. Clair County Jail in Belleville, IL.

The role requires an active RN license and CPR certification, with 1–2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a correctional setting. You’ll assess health needs, administer medications, and guide treatment plans from start to finish. You’ll educate patients, make timely referrals, and help maintain safety and standards while mentoring staff and responding to crises.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted RN license in state of practice and 1–2 years of nursing experience (correctional experience preferred).
• Active CPR certification.
• Strong clinical and communication skills; adaptability in high‑pressure settings.
• A compassionate, nonjudgmental approach to patient care.

Responsibilities
