Paradigm at Bay City in Bay City, TX is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a long-term care setting. You will develop, implement and evaluate plans of care in coordination with physicians, residents, and families.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license in Texas, an Associate Degree in Nursing, and has LTC experience; familiarity with Point Click Care and strong communication and leadership skills are a plus. A $3,200 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active RN license in the State of Texas.
• An Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• 2 years’ experience in Long-Term Care preferred.
• Six (6) months experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Point Click Care preferred.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Outlook and Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with nurse practice act, regulations and facility policies.
• Develop, implement, and direct the plan of care for residents.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and privacy requirements.
• Provide prompt emergency support, including CPR.
• Oversee nursing staff and coordinate with nursing aides to maintain standards.
