Job summary

Mental Health Association of Rochester seeks an onsite Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a technically complex ICU/PCU setting, delivering evidence-based care within a multidisciplinary team, and coordinating with physicians, therapists, and ancillary staff to optimize outcomes.

You will support safety and quality initiatives, mentor new staff through precepting, and validate competencies for specialty care, with night shifts available and incentives to acknowledge after-hours

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Licensed as an RN.
• At least 6 months ICU or PCU experience or completion of a fellowship.
• ACLS and BLS certifications valid through sixty days after hire.
• Ability to work nights.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities: Perform top-of-scope nursing care, prioritize patient wellness, model proficiency through precepting, contribute to safety and quality, and support individualized education and competency validation for specialty care.

Qualifications & Skills

Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from an accredited nursing program, licensed as an RN, with at least 6 months of ICU or PCU experience or completion of a fellowship. Certifications include ACLS and BLS (valid through sixty days of hire). Ability to work nights, with additional incentives for night shifts.
