Job summary

The Emily Program in Ohio is seeking a part-time RN to join an interdisciplinary team caring for clients with eating disorders in inpatient or residential settings. The position will relocate from Cleveland Heights to Aurora in December and requires 16 hours per week, with afternoon and overnight shifts and rotating weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include assessment, monitoring, medication management, and coordinating medical care with providers to implement individualized plans.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN in Ohio
• Valid driver’s license required
• Current BLS certification within 30 days of hire
• Experience or strong desire to work in a mental health setting

• Medication management and education within inpatient/residential settings
• Assist and support medical and psychiatric providers with care coordination
• Coordinate care between patient, provider, staff, family and outside agencies

Position Overview

*Upcoming site relocation to Aurora, OH*

The position will initially be based in Cleveland Heights and will relocate to Aurora in December.

Provides holistic and compassionate nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team to clients with Eating Disorders and other comorbid disorders in an inpatient or residential higher level of care (HLOC) setting.

Schedule

• Part-time, 16 hours/week
• Afternoon and overnight shifts, 2:00-10:30p & 10:00pm-6:30am
• Rotating weekends and holidays required

Compensation Disclosure

• Registered Nurses: Starting hourly range between $34.00-38.00

Final Compensation offered will be within pay range based on qualifications/experience met for the position

How Nurses Empower Recovery

• Provides client care through assessment, monitoring, and intervention to address health concerns appropriately
• Provides medication management including education, assessing adherence, administration in the inpatient and residential setting only, and monitoring for side effects in collaboration with provider
• Assists and supports medical and psychiatric providers with medical care coordination
• Provides medical care coordination between patient, provider, staff, family and outside care agencies as needed
• Serves as a staff resource for client medical needs and information
• Partners with the treatment team to create the appropriate treatment plan for each client

Qualifications

• Licensed as a RN in Ohio
• Must have valid driver’s license and be authorized to drive
• Current Basic Life Support certification required (American Heart Association) within 30 days from date of hire
• Experience or strong desire to work in a mental health setting
