Registered Nurse (RN) - Home Healthcare (Pediatric Focus)

Location: Atlanta, GA

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Bilingual Registered Nurse (RN) for a home healthcare role in Atlanta, GA . This position requires pediatric experience and the ability to provide high-quality, individualized care in a home setting . The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assessing, monitoring, and managing pediatric patients with medical complexities while supporting families and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care to pediatric patients in a home healthcare setting.
• Administer medications, injections, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess vital signs, respiratory status, and overall health of the patient.
• Perform and manage G-tube feedings, tracheostomy care, and ventilator support as needed.
• Educate and guide families and caregivers on pediatric care, emergency response, and safety measures.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR).
• Coordinate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Adhere to infection control and patient safety standards in a home setting.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Georgia.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of pediatric nursing experience (home healthcare experience preferred).
• Current BLS / CPR certification (PALS preferred).
• Experience with tracheostomy care, ventilator management, seizure disorders, and G-tube feedings is a plus.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to different home environments.
• Must have reliable transportation and be comfortable traveling within the Stone Mountain, GA area.
