Job summary

Paycom - ATS is hiring a part-time Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) at Bellaire at Stone Port in Harrisonburg, VA. The role provides resident care per care plans, reporting health changes, and engaging with residents and families in a compassionate, dignified manner.

Responsibilities include continuous learning through seminars and staff meetings, maintaining confidentiality, and performing additional duties as assigned; compensation is hourly and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• QMA certification in Indiana required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to care with love, compassion and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team
• Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
• Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
• Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required
• Must hold certification indicating successful completion of Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) program in the State of Indiana
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
