Job summary

Spring Oak is seeking a caring Registered Medication Aide (RMA) to join our Assisted Living team in Warrenton, VA. You will administer medications, support residents with daily activities, and work closely with the nursing team to ensure safety and comfort for our seniors.

This role emphasizes empathy, accurate documentation, and building trust with residents and families in a warm, family-like environment.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Medication Aide (RMA) certification.
• Experience in assisted living, or senior living is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with state regulations and physician orders.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while promoting dignity and independence.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the nursing team.
• Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and resident care.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Help create a positive, welcoming environment where residents feel valued and cared for.
