Unity Health is seeking a Medical Sonographer Registered for full-time, on-site work in Searcy, AR. The role involves operating diagnostic ultrasound equipment for dynamic procedures at a technically independent level and may require overtime, on-call duties, and disaster response as workload dictates.

Candidates should be graduates from an accredited ultrasonography or radiologic technology program, with preferred DMS registration and about one year of ultrasound experience or equivalent

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of accredited school of ultrasonography or radiologic technology; DMS registered preferred.
• 1 year ultrasound experience or appropriate on the job training to be eligible for the Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Must display an understanding of age-related developmental issues: Neonate, Infant, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric.

Aufgaben

• Operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment for the performance of all dynamic ultrasound procedures at a technical level not requiring direct supervision.
• Physical effort includes lifting and positioning of patients and equipment; ability to lift objects heavier than 50 lbs.
• Concentrate on fine detail with accuracy; follow oral and written instructions.
