Job Overview: This position is responsible for performing a full range of laboratory tests, confirming the accuracy of test results, and reporting laboratory findings to doctors, pathologists, or other physicians. This position may work in various areas of the laboratory, including Transfusion Service, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology/Immunology, Toxicology, Special Chemistry, and Fibrinolysis. The role involves operating and maintaining a variety of laboratory instruments and utilizing the laboratory computer system in the performance of duties. Strict adherence to established policies and procedures is required, and the position operates under the supervision of a general supervisor or medical technologist.
