Job summary

Bergen New Bridge Medical Center is hiring a Registered Medical Assistant in Paramus, NJ. You will support patient care across clinics, manage appointments, and assist physicians with examinations and procedures.

The role requires MA registration or certification, 1–2 years experience preferred, and BLS certification. You will handle specimen collection, basic testing, and documentation while maintaining a clean, stocked, and compliant clinical environment.

Qualifications

• New graduates with Medical Assistant registration or certification.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Typing 25 WPM and proficiency with Word.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care with attention to age-appropriate needs.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient charts and forms.
• Prepare exam rooms and ensure supplies are stocked.
• Administer IM medications and PPD skin tests.
• Take specimens, perform EKGs, and enter results.
• Transcribe orders and document physician encounters.
• Maintain equipment and cleanliness per protocol.
• Provide courteous, professional patient service.
