Pride Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to join a team in Seattle, WA 98104. This a 13 weeks contract with a possible extension.

Job Description:

• The Medical Assistant (MA) plays a crucial role in providing administrative and clinical support to healthcare professionals in various medical settings.
• Take and record patient vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, weight, pulse, etc.)
• Prepare patients for examination and assist during medical procedures
• Administer medications or injections as directed by the physician
• Perform basic laboratory tests (urine, blood samples) and assist with specimen collection
• Prepare and maintain medical instruments and equipment
• Assist with minor surgical procedures and wound care
• Conduct EKGs, phlebotomy, and other diagnostic tests as directed
• Educate patients about prescribed treatments, medications, and health management

Required:

• 3+ years of experience required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• MA-C is preferred but MA-R required.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

Additional Information:

Location: Seattle, WA 98122

Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:30AM-5:00PM; 40 Hours/week

Pay Rate: $26.23 - $28/hour

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
