Dr. Mansur and Associates is seeking a qualified and compassionate therapist in good standing to provide psychotherapy to adults, couples, and families. We offer billing services, marketing support, office space, and client referrals. In addition, we provide supervision, weekly group training, and consultation.

New associates shadow licensed supervisors, engaging in role-playing exercises, reviewing recordings of their sessions, and participating in didactic training. When possible, clinical support will be available from two supervisors and a peer mentor. The ideal candidate is interested in learning clinical and diagnostic skills. The ideal candidate is flexible, empathetic, honest, and adaptable while managing multiple clinical tasks. The right candidate is passionate about mental health and cares for the underserved, marginalized community. The candidate will be dedicated to helping individuals from all intersections of identity and background.

Job Type:

• Be available to work on the weekends and evening hours
• W2 status
• $31 per hour (supervision, peer mentoring, consultation, and training hours are all paid for)
• Hybrid work model: remote and in-person sessions in our Newport Beach office.
• Supervision has to be in person per BBS regulations, unless otherwise indicated by BBS

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy under supervision
• Conduct intakes, assessments, and develop treatment plans
• Utilize evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, attachment-focused)
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation
• Attend weekly supervision and case consultations, and Monthly In-service Trainings
• Deliver culturally responsive care to diverse populations
• Collaborate as needed with the clinical team and support ethical, client-centered practice

Qualifications

• In good standing to accrue hours, currently registered with the State, and reside in California.
• Have basic therapeutic and diagnostic skills.
• Be able to conduct intake assessments and establish appropriate treatment plans.
• Have a background in working with children, adolescents, adults, and families.
• Can work from a multicultural framework with a diverse population.
• Be flexible, self-motivated, and responsible.
