Your schedule is flexible, based on client needs and staffing requirements. Expect a minimum of 30 hours per week, with opportunities to work on weekdays and weekends. We welcome qualified candidates with a big heart, drive for success, determination, and passion to make a difference.

What You Will Need To Bring to the Table:

• At least 1 year of industry-specific caregiving experience
• Valid Home Care Aide (HCA) registration with the California Department of Social Services (CDSS), including Live Scan criminal background check and TB Screening
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends based on client needs
• Positive, respectful attitude and supportive environment mindset
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance
• Completion of 5 hours of initial training required by California law (within first 90 days)
• Strong communication skills to connect with clients, families, and colleagues
• Ability to remain calm, compassionate, and professional in high-stress situations
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and complete tasks
• Maintain confidentiality of client and agency information
• Maintain professional appearance and hygiene at all times

Your Responsibilities in a Nutshell:

• Deliver high-quality care as per care plans, including personal care, meal prep, and housekeeping
• Act as a mandated reporter for suspected abuse or neglect
• Report changes in client conditions promptly
• Provide emotional and social support for clients to promote independence and safety
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA laws
• Assist with mobility, fall prevention, and exercise routines
• Provide medication reminders (not administer meds)
• Maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude

Home Care Aide Duties:

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, meal assistance, toileting, medication reminders
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and organizing tasks
• Offer social and emotional support and monitor client safety
