Registered Environmental Health Specialist/Health Administrator

Registered Environmental Health Specialist/Health Administrator – The Township of Hanover has an opening for a seasoned Registered Environmental Health Specialist with an opportunity for advancement to a Health Administrator role depending on the skills and qualifications of the selected candidate. The desired candidate should have at minimum 5-8 years of progressive-related experience in environmental health at a public health agency. A minimum of 7 years or more of public health supervisory experience is required for Health Administrator advancement. Will act as a technical resource to staff and attend Board of Health and other Hanover Township and/or County of Morris policy and procedure meetings as needed which may require after-hours attendance. NJ Department of Health licensure as a Registered Environmental Health Specialist (REHS) and a valid NJ driver’s license are required. Certification as an NJ Lead Inspector/Risk Assessor and/or Certified Pool Operator (CPO) credential is a plus. Salary range from $70,000 to $120,000.
