ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered EEG Technologist (R.EEGT) to join our Neurodiagnostics team in Scarborough, ME on a 13-week contract. The position supports both inpatient and outpatient EEG services for adults and pediatrics, with 40–48 hours per week across day, evening or weekend shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Current R.EEGT credential from ABRET is required.
• 1–2 years of independent EEG experience in a hospital or acute care setting; ICU/continuous monitoring experience preferred.
• Strong technical skills, critical thinking ability, and capacity to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to high‑quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality routine, ambulatory, and inpatient EEG studies in accordance with ACNS and ASET standards.
• Support long‑term and continuous EEG monitoring for both adult and pediatric patients, including bedside studies in the ICU.
• Ensure accurate electrode application using the international 10‑20 system and other specialized montages as required.
• Recognize and document clinically significant EEG patterns and events; collaborate with neurologists and epilepsy providers.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care for diverse patient populations, including those with complex neurological and critical care needs.
• Maintain equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Document procedures in the EMR and uphold infection‑control policies.
• Support learners in the EEG Training program as needed.
