Job summary

Echo Tech is seeking a dedicated echocardiography technician to operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment in a fast-paced cardiology department. You will perform certified echocardiography studies and ensure high-quality images for physician interpretation.

Responsibilities include coordinating patient flow, keeping accurate EMR records, and maintaining equipment. CPR certification and professional credentialing are required, with on-call duties possible based on staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Ultrasound/Sonography or allied health
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer credential with CCI or ARDMS, CPR certification required
• Experience in echocardiography not strictly required but preferred

General Summary/Responsibilities

Independently performs diagnostic cardiac echocardiology procedures utilizing proper techniques and protocols. Works under their scope of practice and in accordance with registry in the operation of equipment. Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the Cardiopulmonary Department. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of duties in order to maintain equipment in good working condition. May perform other cardiology procedures in other modalities based on departmental needs. May have on call responsibilities.
