Job summary

Opis-Senior-Services-Group seeks a dedicated Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) to support nutritional services and promote high-quality resident care. The role involves assessments, individualized care planning, education, and coordination with the interdisciplinary team to improve nutrition and wellness.

The RD/RDN will develop and implement nutrition plans, educate residents and families, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to the overall clinical and wellness goals of the facility.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and counseling skills.
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets and regulatory requirements.
• Experience working with interdisciplinary teams and documenting care plans.

Responsibilities

• Complete nutritional assessments and develop individualized nutrition care plans.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition education to residents, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to integrate nutrition into treatment plans.
• Monitor progress and adjust nutritional plans as needed.
• Support dietary staff with menu planning and regulatory requirements.
• Lead wellness education, group sessions, or in-service trainings.
• Utilize documentation systems to support care; stay updated on nutrition research.
