Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from an accredited college or university.
• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Active Wisconsin licensure in Nutrition/Dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Nutritional Care & Assessment: Assess and monitor residents’ nutritional status and complete thorough nutritional assessments including MDS sections.
• Care Planning & Monitoring: Develop and update nutritional care plans; monitor weight changes, nutrition support, and skin integrity.
• Menu & Meal Oversight: Oversee diet orders, review menus for compliance, and ensure correct textures and modifications.
• Collaboration & Education: Partner with the interdisciplinary team to align diets with medical conditions and educate residents, families, and staff.
• Compliance & Auditing: Inspect food service areas for sanitation and safety, conduct audits, and participate in surveys.
