Job summary

Greendale Park Nursing & Rehab is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition care for residents in a long-term care setting in Greendale, Wisconsin. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Nutrition or Dietetics.
• Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Experience working in a long-term care setting, preferably with gerontology focus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for residents, families, and healthcare teams.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nutritional assessments and develop personalized meal plans for residents.
• Coordinate with culinary team to ensure high standards for quality and presentation.
• Monitor and report on resident outcomes and recommend improvements to nutrition services.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement effective care plans addressing residents' needs.
• Provide education and counseling to residents, families, and caregivers on nutrition and meal planning.
• Stay up-to-date with research and guidelines in nutrition and dietetics and apply knowledge to care services.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and accreditation processes.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of resident care.
