Responsibilities
  1. Conduct personalized nutrition therapy consultations via telehealth.
  2. Administer evidence-based clinical protocols and deliver individualized nutrition support.
  3. Monitor patient progress, making adjustments to help achieve health goals.
  4. Maintain high patient retention by following clinical guidelines.
  5. Collaborate with care team members.
  6. Use meal planning tools to support patient compliance.
  7. Participate in clinical rounds and team meetings.
  8. Support lifestyle changes and build trusting relationships with patients and caregivers.
  9. Document clinical information accurately in the Electronic Medical Record.
  10. Work efficiently in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a positive attitude.
Requirements
  • State license in Tennessee.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics.
  • Completion of an Accredited Dietetic Internship.
  • Credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  • 1-2 years of post-internship nutrition experience.
  • Experience counseling patients virtually or outpatient.
  • Expertise in GI conditions like IBD, IBS, fatty liver, celiac disease, etc.
  • Comfort in educating patients with complex chronic conditions such as diabetes and kidney disease.
