Position Overview

The Registered Dietitian coordinates care plans for enteral therapy patients, including reviewing clinical documents, therapy prescriptions, screening for nutrition risk, conducting assessments, Medicare reviews, formula calculations, providing follow-up and support, and participating in clinical projects as needed.

The starting pay is $60,000 annually, depending on experience. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits such as Health, Dental, Vision, Life insurance, 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, and 100% remote work opportunity.

Essential Job Functions

1. Support tube-fed patients remotely at home.
2. Work independently with clinical judgment within scope of practice.
3. Conduct nutrition screening, assessments, and reassessments as needed.
4. Determine patient eligibility for Medicare coverage and complete billing forms.
5. Coordinate with healthcare providers regarding insurance and documentation.
6. Review clinical documents and prescriptions.
7. Calculate formula prescriptions.
8. Respond to patient questions, troubleshoot, and provide nutrition support.
9. Document interactions in Brightree software.
10. Assist with projects related to formula pricing, coding, reimbursement, and volume calculations.
11. Maintain necessary skills and licensure to provide compliant, quality care.
12. Accurately submit time and attendance records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Nutritionist or Dietitian.
• Current license from the CDR.
