Job summary

Nutritious Lifestyles in Kansas City, MO, is hiring Registered Dietitians (RDN) or RD2Be for full-time or part-time roles. You’ll perform nutrition assessments, educate patients, and support nutrition care teams in a patient-centered setting.

Ideal candidates include RD2Be, interns, new graduates with no experience, experienced RDNs, and even semi-retired professionals seeking flexible schedules. We offer tutoring, relocation assistance, licensing reimbursements, CEUs, and mentorship.

Qualifications

• RD-Eligible or enrolled in dietetics internship with eligibility to sit the exam.
• Ability to plan and implement nutrition care and patient education.
• Comfort collaborating with RDs, physicians and therapists.

Responsibilities

• Perform nutrition assessments and patient care planning.
• Educate patients to promote wellness and nutrition literacy.
• Monitor weight and nutrition status, including wound care needs.
• Assist with tube-feeding management when applicable.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to improve outcomes.

What You'll Do:

• Nutrition assessments and patient care planning.
• Educate patients regarding nutrition to promote wellness.
• Monitor weight, nutritional status, wounds, and nutrition support needs, including tube-feeding management when applicable.
• Collaborate with RDs, Physicians, Speech & Occupational Therapists.
• Help improve patient outcomes using "Food as Medicine".
