Job summary

The Pearl at Ft. Lauderdale Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD) to join its nutrition team. You will conduct timely nutritional assessments, approve menus, and monitor medical nutrition therapy within facility policies and resident care plans.

This full-time role offers competitive pay up to $75,000 per year, with a daily pay option, and benefits including PTO, sick time, vacation, and medical, dental, and vision coverage.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and understand English.
• On job training
• Must have RD License

Responsibilities

• Initiate nutritional assessments within 24 hours and complete within 7 days
• Observe meal service in the main dining area at a minimum of four times a week, other congregate dining areas as needed.
• Conduct meal rounds
• Approve menus and substitutions
• May assist in the department when needed
• Staff development functions
• Residents' rights - understand and comply with and promote all rules.
• To ensure medical nutritional therapy is assessed, implemented, and monitored in accordance with facility policies, physician orders, resident care plans, and appropriate regulations
