We are seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Registered Dietitian (RD) to provide nutrition care and counseling to patients in Chicago. The RD will assess nutritional needs, develop individualized plans, and monitor progress in a full-time role within healthcare.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of clinical nutrition experience, strong communication, and a patient-focused approach. Valid license and ongoing professional education are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Health, or related field.
• Valid state license to practice as required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical nutrition.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nutrition assessments and speak with patients to understand goals, needs, preferences, and restrictions.

• Maintain accurate patient information in the appropriate database/system.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop menus for patients and cafeteria visitors.

• Participate in nutrition demonstrations, seminars, and educational programs.
• Educate patients and community members about healthy eating habits.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Health, or a related field.
• Valid state license to practice as required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a related dietary/clinical nutrition field.
• Strong knowledge of nutrition, dietary planning, and healthy eating practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification/credential from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics preferred.
• Previous clinical or healthcare experience.

• Experience developing patient-specific or therapeutic menus.
• Experience conducting nutrition education sessions, demonstrations, or seminars.
