Job summary

Maven Clinic is seeking a mission-driven Registered Dietitian (RD or RDN) to support our members through virtual care services. As part of a global provider network, you will help deliver holistic, evidence-based nutrition care across fertility, maternity, postpartum, and women’s health.

This is a part-time, 1099 contract role for Canada-based clinicians who reside in Canada, are fluent in English and French, and have 2+ years of telehealth and private-practice nutrition counseling experience.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian (RD) in Canada, registered with the applicable provincial or territorial regulatory body.
• Residing in Canada.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Part-time, independent contractor role.
• 2+ years of telehealth experience.
• 2+ years of 1:1 nutrition counseling in a private practice setting.
• Strong interest in women’s health or reproductive nutrition preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual care and support to members through video consultations and asynchronous messaging.
• Cover weight management, prenatal, postpartum, and fertility nutrition.
• Offer nutrition guidance for nausea, appetite issues, and reintroducing food tolerance.
• Offer PCOS-related nutrition and metabolic support.
• Document encounter summaries in the practice management system (MPractice).
• Collaborate with Care Delivery to support member needs and referrals.
• Be an ambassador for Maven’s care model with culturally humble care.

About This Role:

Maven is looking for a mission-driven, empathetic Registered Dietician (RD or RDN) to support our members through virtual care services.

What You'll Do:

• Provide virtual care and support to adult members through 20-minute video consultations and asynchronous messaging, including guidance on:
• Weight management, including weight loss, weight gain, and GLP-1 medication support
• Prenatal, postpartum, and fertility nutrition
• Nausea, low appetite, and strategies for reintroducing food tolerance
• PCOS-related nutrition and metabolic support
• Capture encounter summary documentation in our practice management system, MPractice
• Collaborate with Maven’s Care Delivery team to ensure member needs are met, including recommendations for in-person referrals and follow-ups
• Serve as an ambassador of Maven’s unique care model, providing culturally humble care and championing our belief that better outcomes for women and families mean a better world for everyone

Who You Are:

• Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD) in Canada and be registered with the applicable provincial or territorial regulatory body.
• Must be residing in Canada.
• Must be fluent in French and in English.
• Possess the ability to provide direct member care for approximately 5 hours per week . This is a part-time, independent contractor role.
• Must have experience providing 1:1 nutrition counseling in a private practice setting.
• Must have 2+ years of prior experience in telehealth and be comfortable providing care through a digital health platform.
• Strong interest or experience in women’s health or reproductive nutrition strongly preferred.
