The role involves overseeing nutrition care for residents, completing assessments, developing care plans, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Dietitian, DTR and CDM.
• Knowledge of OBRA regulations, Federal, state and local health department regulations.
• Ability to adhere to safety requirements and effectively follow instructions.

Responsibilities

Job description

Burcham Hills is an upscale senior living retirement community located in the backyard of Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI. We are looking for a Registered Dietitian to work a Full Time, Part Time, or Per Diem schedule. In this position, the RD will oversee the nutritional care for all residents and have additional duties that include:

• Complete nutrition assessments and at‑risk follow‑ups.
• Develop resident nutrition care plans – monitor for effectiveness and revise as needed.
• Prepare for and/or attend interdisciplinary and family care conferences and other meetings as needed.
• Oversee resident table service and meal delivery, assuring compliance with OBRA regulations and physician diet orders.
• Complete assigned portions of Minimum Data Set.
• Assist in supervision of other Hospitality Employees as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Dietitian, DTR and CDM. Knowledge of OBRA regulations, Federal, state and local health department regulations, geriatric nutrition and care planning.
• Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend written and oral instructions in English effectively, as well as follow rules and safety requirements.
