Job Description

The Registered Dietitian is responsible for assessing and supervising the nutritional need of the patients, providing age and developmentally appropriate diet planning and education and assuring quality nutritional care is provided to all patients in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Lakeside Behavioral Health and the American Dietetics Association.


Qualifications

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelors degree in Nutrition, Masters Degree preferred.

Experience: Prefer one year of clinical dietitian experience in a health care environment. Prior workwith a mental health population strongly desired.

Licensure/Certification: Licensed by the Tennessee Department of Health as a Registered Dietician.

Knowledge: Prefer knowledge of age appropriate nutritional assessments and screenings, nutritionalcounseling and education, dietary planning and food and drug interactions.
