Clear Lake - AMG Specialty Hospital is seeking a PRN RegisteredDietitian. The Dietitian advises and Counsels inpatient on food andnutrition. Assesses dietary needs and plans therapeutic diets for inpatientsbased on patient's current health concerns. Analyses effects of interventions.Collaborates with Physician, Nursing and therapists to improve patientoutcomes. Oversees and implements preparation and service of meals forpatients. in the hospital. Responsible for oversight of dietary staff and theirperformance as well as ensuring the dietary department is in compliance withcompany guidelines; state, federal and other governing bodies laws andregulations. Assures patients areconsistently served diets as ordered following guidelines for meal times andmeal temperatures.

Job Requirements

• Texas Hospital Requirement; Currently licensedby the Texas State Board of Examiners of Dietitians as a licensed dietitian orprovisional licensed dietitian, or who is a registered dietitian with theAmerican Dietetic Association
• Current CDR Registered Dietitian
• Ability to read and communicate effectively inEnglish.
• Additional languages desirable.
