Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Savannah, part of Select Medical, is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a full-time role in Savannah, GA. You will develop and monitor Medical Nutrition Therapies and collaborate with medical staff to ensure nutrition care plans are properly implemented.

The ideal candidate holds current RD licensure/registration and has at least one year of clinical experience. A generous sign-on bonus and full benefits accompany this opportunity.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure/certification, if required by state.
• Current registration by the Commission on Dietetics Registration.
• One (1) year of work experience in a facility setting with clinical responsibilities or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nutritional care, develop and monitor Medical Nutrition Therapies.
• Collaborate with medical staff, patients, families and food service to implement plans.
• Perform nutritional assessments and re-assessments, set goals and monitor progress.
• Develop and monitor enteral and/or parenteral nutrition support regimens.
• Work with Speech Therapy to advance textured modified diets for safety and intake.
• Attend interdisciplinary team meetings and communicate progress.
