The Registered Dietitian develops, implements, and promotes quality, evidence-based nutrition care to meet the needs of patients in both acute care and outpatient settings. The role supports facility and department initiatives to maintain high-quality care for inpatients and outpatients, and participates in community events to promote health and improve nutrition in the communities served by Hackensack Meridian Health.

This position is in a fast-paced Diabetes and Endocrinology practice.

The working hours are from 8 am to 4 pm, with one late night until 6 pm.

There are 23 team staff members and 5 doctors.

This is a per diem position with a set schedule averaging 2-3 days per week, including 1 day at our satellite location in Monroe (once a week or every other week on a Wednesday).

You will work approximately 19 hours per week, with potential for additional hours as needed.

Minimum Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Bachelor of Science in Nutrition or a related field required.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist certification within 60 days of employment.
