Job summary

Allegheny Health Network seeks a registered dietitian/nutrition professional to direct and provide nutrition care to patients through assessment, planning, implementation and monitoring, and to deliver nutrition education to patients and staff.

Responsibilities include performing individualized assessments, developing and monitoring the nutrition care plan, offering education programs, documenting reports, and creating tools to improve nutrition care while complying with HIPAA and the company's

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in dietetics or nutrition.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs individualized patient assessments and reassessments.
• Develops, documents, and monitors the nutritional plan of care for the population served according to individualized assessment and professional standards.
• Provides education and/or educational programs for patients and staff.
• Performs documentation and completes reports according to procedures and established practice within guidelines.
• Develops, implements, and monitors tools necessary to maintain and improve nutrition care provided to patients, staff and community.
• Performs all other duties as assigned or required.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition
