Job summary

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Dietetics or Nutrition, hold a registered dietitian certification, and ideally two years of acute care experience. Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• License and/or certification from the State Licensing Board for Dietitians.
• Two years’ experience in acute care hospital preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement nutrition care for patients.
• Conduct initial and reassessments of admitted patients.
• Prescribe nutrition therapy and monitor tolerance.
• Coordinate with Culinary Services for patient meal satisfaction.

Skills

Knowledge of evidenced based clinical nutrition guidelines

Ability to be accurate, concise, and detail-oriented

Knowledge of quantity food production

Basic computer skills

Fluent in English

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field
