Qualifications
Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
License and/or certification from the State Licensing Board for Dietitians.
Two years’ experience in acute care hospital preferred.
Responsibilities
Plan and implement nutrition care for patients.
Conduct initial and reassessments of admitted patients.
Prescribe nutrition therapy and monitor tolerance.
Coordinate with Culinary Services for patient meal satisfaction.
Skills
Knowledge of evidenced based clinical nutrition guidelines
Ability to be accurate, concise, and detail-oriented
Knowledge of quantity food production
Basic computer skills
Fluent in English
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field
