Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a part-time inpatient role at Bridgeport Hospital Milford Campus in Milford, CT. The position covers 24 hours per week and includes coverage at Bridgeport Hospital.

The role focuses on delivering Nutrition Care Process-based care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and providing evidence-based nutrition counseling. A RD/RDN must emerge within 120 days and licensure requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Must have Master’s degree in nutrition, dietetics or related field with ACEND coursework and supervised practice.
• OR, for those eligible before 1/1/2024: Bachelor’s degree meeting ACEND requirements.
• Management experience: 0–1 years.
• Related experience: 3 years.
• Meets eligibility for RD/RDN via CDR and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
• Must meet state licensure/certification requirements at time of hire where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nutrition care for patients, residents, and communities using the Nutrition Care Process.
• Act as a nutrition resource for patients, peers, and foodservice staff; collaborate across interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition counseling and training to patients, healthcare staff, students, and foodservice teams.
• Maintain professional practices aligned with regulatory, facility, and Sodexo standards.
• Participate in or lead performance improvement initiatives to enhance outcomes and service quality.
• Demonstrate ongoing professional growth through continuing education and training.

Pay Range:

$77605 per year - $100430 per year
